Privacy Policy

SEOJist (“we”, “us”) operates the website seojist.com and the web application at app.seojist.com (the “Service”), an SEO analytics tool. Effective date: September 29, 2026.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
• Google Search Console data. With your permission we read search performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, positions, countries, devices) and URL indexing status for the sites you choose to connect.
• Google Analytics 4 data. With your permission we read reporting data (sessions, users, landing pages, page titles, traffic sources, events) for the properties you choose to connect.
• Settings and notes you create in the Service, such as topic clusters, content groups, branded keywords and annotations.

Our access to Google data is read-only. We never modify your Search Console or Analytics accounts.

2. How we use information

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Service for you: showing dashboards, trend analysis, opportunity reports and indexing status for your own sites. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

SEOJist's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not allow humans to read your Google user data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. AI-assisted features and service providers

Some features (for example, suggesting topic clusters or branded keywords) send a limited set of data from your connected sites, such as top search queries, URL path patterns and page titles, to third-party AI model providers (currently Google Gemini and Groq) solely to generate suggestions shown to you. These providers process the data to return a response to us. We do not permit them to use it to train their models. Our infrastructure is hosted on servers we control.

We do not otherwise share your Google user data with third parties, except as required by law.

5. Storage and security

Google access tokens are encrypted at rest. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to our systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your synced Search Console and Analytics data only while your account is active, within the retention window of your plan. You can disconnect Google at any time in the Service settings, and you can revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
